Duties and responsibilities:

Under the regular supervision of the Head of Center, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible of:

  1. Assistance to the head of center:
    1. Help in accounting and administrative work.
    2. Prepare the accounting documents related to centers’ monthly budget to be sent to the head office.
    3. Get offers from different suppliers according to the procurement policy and procedures

 

  1. Assistance to the projects:
    1. Transfer data from paper formats into database systems;
    2. Create and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures;
    3. Verify data by comparing it to source documents;
    4. Update existing data;
    5. Produce reports;
    6. Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation;
    7. Sort, organize and store paperwork after entering data.

Qualifications:

  • BS graduate in business administration or equivalent;
  • Fast typing skills ;
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools;
  • 5 years of experience with spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.);
  • Basic understanding of databases;
  • Good command of English both oral and written ;
  • Great attention to details;
  • Excellent time-management skills;
